Neda Olommi moved to Germany at a young age in 1979, following the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. She moved to Chicago at the age of 17 and then to San Diego in 1987, where she currently resides.

Neda has been working as an active volunteer with a few non-profit organizations since 2017 and joined IOC in 2021. Neda works as a speech and language pathologist and in her spare time, she loves to paint. In fact, a certain percentage  of her proceeds from selling her paintings go to IOC, in order to support orphans and widows.
